Everything worth knowing before we begin

Masz pytania? My mamy odpowiedzi

There are no silly questions, only the ones that stay unasked.
That is why we have gathered answers that can take you from “hmm…” to “now I get it” in just a few minutes.
Instead of stiff formulas, you get simple answers, useful facts, a bit of behind-the-scenes context and no dead weight.

Good decisions start with clear answers

Pytania i Odpowiedzi

Here you will find questions about interior finishing, renovations, packages, calculators, guarantees, partner programmes, payments, travel areas, Moje Mivare and Mivi.
Not to bury you in rules. Simply to make it easier to start with a good conversation.

Zanim zaczniesz

Let us first put everything in order

Here you will find the answers that most often come up before the first conversation: scope, cost, travel area, formalities and the way the work is managed.

What exactly does Mivare do?

We handle turnkey interior finishing, apartment and house renovations, and refreshing works for private and investment spaces. We can lead the whole process from the first conversation to handover, or support only a selected scope if that is what you need.

Do you only take on large projects?

No. We work on larger investments as well as smaller changes that improve everyday comfort, the look of a space or the value of a property. More important than the scale itself is whether the scope, budget and responsibility for the result can be planned properly.

What is the best way to start?

The best start is a conversation and a simple overview of your situation: what kind of property you have, what stage you are at, what you want to change, when you want to begin and what budget you see as a realistic point of reference. Then it is easier to choose the right path: a package, renovation, refresh, design support or an individual estimate.

Let us start with a conversation

Can I simply ask first, without any obligation?

Yes. The first conversation is exactly for checking whether the project fits us and whether our way of working fits you. You do not need a finished design, a material list or every decision made in advance.

Does everything have to be expensive and luxurious?

No. Good finishing does not always mean the most expensive materials. It means thoughtful decisions, a fair scope, proper technique, a sensible standard and details made so the interior serves well for years.

Can I check an indicative budget before we talk?

Yes. We have prepared calculators that help you see the approximate scale of the investment. The result does not replace an estimate after analysing the property, but it gives a much better starting point than guessing.

Go to the Investment Calculator

How are you different from a typical renovation crew?

We do not just sell labour hours. We lead the project as a process: with scope, schedule, documents, communication, budget, responsibility for detail and support after completion. This order is often what makes the real difference.

Idea, concept and decisions

Design should help, not complicate

Not every client starts with a finished vision. That is why we treat design as a tool for making good decisions, not as a showpiece for its own sake.

Do I need to have a finished interior design?

Not always. For simpler scopes, a conversation, measurements, a defined standard and a list of material decisions may be enough. For more complex interiors, a design, concept or technical documentation is very important because it protects the budget, timing and final result.

Can you work from my architect’s design?

Yes. If you have a design from an architect or interior designer, we can review it and prepare the works based on the existing documentation. If something needs technical clarification, we raise it before the start, not halfway through the works.

What if I do not know which style to choose yet?

That is normal. We help turn general inspirations into decisions that can actually be delivered: colours, materials, flooring, doors, lighting, function and level of detail. You do not need to know the style names straight away. It is enough to know how you want to feel in your interior.

See inspirations

Can the design be adjusted to the budget?

Yes, and that is why it is worth talking about the budget early. We can point out which decisions affect the cost most, where it is worth investing more and where a simpler solution can work without losing the sense of the whole project.

Do you help choose materials?

Yes. Material selection is one of those decisions that can change the cost, durability and look of an interior. We help choose materials that fit the style, lifestyle, budget and technical conditions of the property.

Can I make changes while the design is being prepared?

Yes, but it is best to do it before the works begin. A change at the design stage is usually calmer and less expensive than a change on site, when materials have already been ordered and teams are scheduled.

Do you check technical limitations of the property?

Yes. A design has to meet reality: service risers, installations, ceiling heights, uneven surfaces, wall and floor condition, and installation possibilities. Good design decisions start with checking what can actually be built.

Na budowie i w mieszkaniu

Execution is where promises have to become real materials

This is where organisation, communication, quality of workmanship and fast reactions to things that were not visible at the first meeting really matter.

What does the start of the project look like?

First we organise the scope, documents, schedule, access to the property and the most important material decisions. The start should not be improvised, because early chaos often returns later as extra cost, delays and stress.

Who keeps the work on track?

On our side, the project has a person responsible for managing the topic, contact, arrangements and control of the next stages. This means you do not have to repeat the same story to several people every day.

Can I live in the property during the renovation?

It depends on the scope. With a light refresh, it can sometimes be possible. With a full renovation, installation changes, bathroom works, floors or heavy dust, we usually recommend moving out for the duration of the works because it is safer and more efficient.

What about purchasing and delivering materials?

We can help with material selection, organisation and coordination, with details agreed according to the scope. It is not only about what to buy, but also when it should arrive, where it will be stored and what may block the next stage.

Do you document work progress?

Yes, especially on larger projects. Photos, arrangements, stages, documents and important decisions can be stored in Moje Mivare so it is easier to return to what was agreed and completed.

Explore Moje Mivare and Mivi

What if a technical problem appears during the works?

First we diagnose, then we show possible solutions and their impact on cost, timing and result. We do not pretend a wall is straight, an installation is perfect or a ceiling has no surprises when the reality says otherwise.

Can the project be divided into stages?

Yes, if it makes technical and organisational sense. Staging can help with budget or logistics, but it needs a good plan so you do not pay twice for the same demolition, protection or return to an already closed area.

What does final handover look like?

At the end, we check the scope, details, items requiring correction, documents and further support. Handover is not just the moment when keys are passed over. It closes the process and begins post-completion care.

From conversation to handover

Processs is not an add-on. It is the way we lead the project

A good interior rarely happens by accident. It is built from consecutive decisions that each have their place, timing and responsibility.

Why do you talk so much about process?

Because in finishing and renovation, the problem is often not the work itself. It is the lack of sequence, decisions, documents, communication and clear responsibility. A process puts these areas in order before they become expensive.

What does the process look like in brief?

We start with a conversation and understanding your needs. Then we organise the scope, budget, standard, design, materials, schedule and project conditions. Only on that basis do we move into execution, stage control, handover and post-completion support.

Is the schedule fixed?

A schedule is a work plan, not fiction pretending to be reality. We plan sequence and dates, but we respond to material availability, client decisions, discovered technical issues and on-site conditions. What matters most is that changes are visible and understandable.

How do you reduce decision chaos?

We break a large topic into specific decisions: scope, standard, materials, colours, installations, built-ins, lighting, doors, floors and details. This way you do not have to decide everything at once, but nothing important is accidentally missed.

Does the client have access to progress information?

Yes. On larger projects, order around the project can be supported by Moje Mivare: status, documents, budget, photos, arrangements and decisions in one place. It does not replace conversation, but it makes it much easier not to lose context.

What is most important before the works begin?

The most important thing is closing the issues that later block the work: scope, access, key materials, installations, delivery dates, design decisions and settlement method. The better these are organised, the calmer the project runs.

Does the process also work for small refreshes?

Yes, only on a different scale. Even painting, corrections, flooring or quick preparation of an apartment for rent needs scope, timing, cost and handover. A small project deserves order too.

Quality you can see up close

Detail is not an ornament at the end. Detail starts in the way the work is done

Grout, skirting, corners, light, cuts, material joints and built-in lines can say more about a project than a long description.

What do you mean by responsibility for detail?

It means attention to places that usually show only over time: material joints, lines, corners, transitions, symmetries, gaps, light and how elements behave in everyday use.

Why are tile layout and grout so important?

Because tiles are not finished when the pattern is chosen. The starting point, cuts, grout, corners, drains, niches, fittings and relation to doors, built-ins and light all matter. A badly planned start can spoil the whole bathroom.

Do you make 45-degree mitred cuts?

Yes, if the material, design and technical sense allow it. These details require precision and time, but they can create a much cleaner, more elegant effect than random corner trims.

Do you pay attention to skirtings, transitions and joints?

Yes. These are the places where you often see the difference between “done somehow” and properly refined work. Skirtings, expansion gaps, floor joints, wall and ceiling connections and door installation all have to fit the whole.

How do you approach LED lighting?

Technical and decorative lighting need an early plan. LED strips, profiles, niches, power supplies, access points and control have to be considered before built-ins are closed, so the effect is clean and later servicing remains possible.

Do you make custom elements, wood pieces, countertops or bespoke forms?

Yes, if they fit the character of the project. We like elements that give the interior its own signature: wood, live edge, consoles, shelves, tables, lamps, countertops and material combinations designed for a specific place.

Do details significantly increase the cost?

Sometimes yes, but not always. The most expensive detail is often the badly planned one that has to be corrected after completion. A well-chosen detail should make sense for the budget, aesthetics and durability.

Look closely at the details

Security of cooperation

Contract, invoice, guarantee and responsibility after handover

Good finishing should not end with a promise. Documents, scope, handover, guarantee and the ability to return to arrangements all matter.

Do you work under a contract?

Yes. The scope, terms, payments, responsibility and key arrangements should be written down. A contract protects both sides and reduces the risk of a situation where everyone remembers things slightly differently.

Do you issue an invoice?

Yes. We work legally, with documents and a settlement trail. This matters not only for accounting, but also for guarantee, handover, later property sale or any dispute about scope.

Do you provide a workmanship guarantee?

Yes, the guarantee scope depends on the type of project, package and contract arrangements. What matters is that the guarantee is not just a leaflet slogan, but a part of the cooperation described in the documents.

See what you gain

What does handover include?

Handover includes checking the completed scope, noting any corrections, organising documents and closing settlements. On larger projects, work history and documentation can remain in Moje Mivare.

What if a fault appears after completion?

First we need a description, photos and context. Then we check whether the issue concerns the guarantee, use, material, installation or an external element. Well-kept documentation makes quick diagnosis much easier.

Does legal cooperation have to be less worthwhile than “without an invoice”?

We do not look at it that way. Apparent savings often disappear at the first correction, delay or lack of responsibility. That is why we build the offer so that security, documents and post-project benefits have real value.

Are there post-completion reviews?

Selected packages and scopes may include post-completion reviews. This helps return to the interior after some time, once materials have started working and the client is using the space in the normal rhythm of everyday life.

Miasta, dojazdy, rozliczenia

We work locally, but a good project can be planned more widely

Our natural centre is Silesia and Zaglebie. With the right scale, standard and logistics, we can also discuss projects further away.

Where do you usually work?

We work most often in the heart of Silesia and Zaglebie: Dabrowa Gornicza, Katowice, Sosnowiec, Bedzin, Gliwice, Tychy, Chorzow and nearby towns. This is the area where it is easiest to maintain fast contact, efficient travel and ongoing project control.

Do you take projects in Bielsko-Biala, Krakow or Czestochowa?

Yes, we can plan such projects individually. With a longer travel distance, the scale of work, schedule, delivery logistics, number of visits and whether the project allows for well-organised execution all matter.

Is an even more distant project possible, even by the sea?

We can talk about such a project, but we do not treat it as a standard travel area. A distant project needs the right scale, closed logistics, a clear schedule, team accommodation, deliveries and a supervision model. Only then can we calculate whether it makes sense.

Is travel charged additionally?

In the nearest area, we usually treat travel as a natural part of organising the work. For more distant locations, we discuss travel, logistics, transport, accommodation or additional visit costs clearly before cooperation begins.

How does the payment system work?

For larger projects, payment is usually divided into stages connected with the scope, schedule and documents. This means you do not pay everything at once, and we have clear conditions for managing work, orders and next stages.

Do you show gross prices?

Yes, on package and calculator pages we show gross prices unless a specific item states otherwise. In an individual offer, we always clarify what the price includes, what VAT applies, what is labour, what is material and what remains outside the scope.

Is an advance payment required?

In many projects, yes, especially when a date has to be reserved, preparations started, materials ordered or resources secured. The amount and payment moment follow the contract and agreed schedule.

What is the best way to pay?

The clearest form is a bank transfer, because it leaves a full settlement history and fits work with a contract and invoice. Other settlement issues are agreed individually, always in a clear, legal way without grey areas.

Standard and budget

Packages help compare scope instead of guessing what is hidden in the price

A package is not a cage. It is a point of reference that helps you understand the standard, level of care, materials and indicative budget faster.

What are interior finishing packages for?

Packages let you compare standards without guessing. You can see the difference between a simpler, sensible finish and a more refined, prestigious or luxury variant.

Which packages can I compare?

On the packages page you will find four levels: Classic, Comfort, Prestige and Luxury. Each answers a different need, from a calm and sensible start to a project with the highest level of refinement.

Explore finishing packages

Does the package include everything?

A package shows the standard and base scope, but the specific offer always depends on area, layout, technical condition, number of rooms, installations, selected materials and additional decisions. That is why a package is the beginning of a conversation, not a blind automatic quote.

Are package prices gross prices?

Yes, package prices are shown as gross amounts per m². The final cost is set after clarifying the scope, standard, area and technical conditions.

Can I choose a package and change something in it?

Yes. In practice, many projects need adjustment. We can start from a package and then add or remove elements that genuinely matter for your interior, budget and lifestyle.

How is package comparison different from a standard price list?

Package comparison shows what changes between standards: guarantee, care, materials, design, bathroom, kitchen, floors, doors and level of detail. This makes it easier to see what you are really paying extra for.

Compare packages

What if no package fits perfectly?

Then we prepare an individual solution. Not every apartment, house or investment should be pushed into a ready-made template. Sometimes the best decision starts with a conversation, not a table.

Policz, zanim zdecydujesz

A calculator does not replace conversation, but it ends the guessing

Calculators help estimate the budget, understand the impact of decisions and prepare for a conversation about the real scope of work.

What is the Investment Calculator for?

This tool guides you step by step through the most important parameters: area, height, investment type, property type, additional zones, installations, joinery, extra works and finishing standard. The result is less random than simply multiplying the area by one rate.

Uruchom Kalkulator Inwestycji

Is the calculator result an offer?

No. The result is an indicative budget that helps you understand the scale of the investment. A final offer requires a conversation, property analysis, scope, documentation, materials and technical conditions.

Why does the calculator ask about interior height?

Because a high apartment, loft or historic tenement flat can have different preparation, painting, built-in, logistics and height-work costs than a standard apartment of the same area. This parameter helps avoid a result that is too flat.

Is the calculator suitable for turnkey finishing?

Yes, especially if you want to calculate a broader investment and see how standard and scope affect the indicative budget. It is a good first step before comparing packages or discussing an individual offer.

Do you also have calculators for specific services?

Yes, we are developing calculators for selected works such as painting, smooth plaster, laminate flooring, bathroom works, suspended ceilings and apartment renovation. For simpler topics, such a calculator can be faster than the full investment calculator.

When is it better to use packages, and when the calculator?

Packages work well when you are thinking about the standard of turnkey apartment finishing. The calculator is better when you want to estimate a broader or more mixed scope: renovation, refresh, additional zones, installations and non-standard works.

What should I do after calculating the budget?

It is best to save the result, note the assumptions and contact us. Then we can check whether the calculator reflects your situation well, what should be clarified and where costs may appear that an automatic tool cannot see.

Projekt w jednym miejscu

Technology should take weight off your shoulders, not replace conversation

Moje Mivare and Mivi help keep the project, documents, budget, photos, decisions, requests and communication in one place.

What is Moje Mivare?

It is the private space of your project. You can return to documents, see the status, schedule, budget, work photos, arrangements and items that require a decision.

Do I have to use the panel?

We do not treat the panel as an obligation. It is support designed to make cooperation easier. If you prefer phone, meetings or email, we can still communicate like normal people, while the panel simply keeps the most important information organised in the background.

What is Mivi?

Mivi is the project AI assistant. It helps you quickly see what is happening in the project, what needs attention and what is worth returning to before the next stage. It does not replace us. It organises the picture in simpler language.

Is Moje Mivare paid?

No. Access to Moje Mivare and Mivi is treated as part of the Mivare cooperation standard. No subscription, no hidden charges and no time limit after completion.

What remains in the panel after handover?

Documents, photos, handovers, arrangements, settlements and project history can stay in one place. This is useful for guarantee, service, later property sale or returning to decisions over time.

Does the panel help business partners?

Yes. A developer, architect, real estate agency or property manager needs different information, but everyone benefits from order: property status, documents, photos, decisions, requests, handovers and case history are easier to check.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It is a web panel prepared on our side. We create the project space, fill in the key data and set access so using it is as simple as possible.

Post-project benefit

Safe cooperation can also genuinely pay off

The Mivare Benefits Programme gives you a choice: a partial return of the project value or a larger shopping bonus to complete the interior.

How does cashback work?

After completion and full settlement of the contract, you can choose cashback of 8% of the gross contract value, up to PLN 10,000. This is a real return of money after the works are completed.

How does the shopping bonus work?

Instead of cashback, you can choose a bonus worth 12% of the gross contract value, up to PLN 15,000. The bonus is intended for interior furnishing and may be provided as cards or e-vouchers for programme partners.

Where can the bonus be used?

The bonus may apply to partners named in the programme, such as IKEA, Agata or Media Expert. It makes sense if, after the works, you still plan furniture, lighting, appliances or accessories.

From what contract value does the programme apply?

The programme applies to contracts from PLN 10,000 gross, concluded for services delivered by Mivare. Detailed terms, dates, exclusions and settlement rules are described in the programme regulations.

Can cashback and the bonus be combined?

No. You choose one of two options: 8% cashback or a 12% bonus. This keeps the rules simple and avoids splitting the benefit into several small mechanisms.

When do I receive the benefit?

After the project is completed and the contract is fully settled, in line with the programme regulations. This matters because the benefit is tied to work that has actually been delivered and settled.

Why is this better than “cheaper without paperwork”?

Because you do not have to choose between safety and value. You have a contract, invoice, guarantee, organised process and a specific benefit after the works are complete.

See Cashback and Bonuses

You recommend us and both sides benefit

Good interiors are genuinely worth recommending

The Referral Programme rewards successful recommendations. The referred person gains a starting benefit, and the person making the recommendation receives a cash reward.

How does the Referral Programme work?

You recommend Mivare to someone planning interior finishing, a renovation or a larger project. If that person signs a new contract with us that meets the programme conditions, they receive a starting benefit and you receive a cash reward.

How much can you gain for a referral?

The reward depends on the value of the new contract signed by the referred person. For a contract from PLN 30,000 to PLN 59,999 gross it is PLN 1,500; from PLN 60,000 to PLN 99,999 gross it is PLN 3,000; and from PLN 100,000 gross it is PLN 5,000.

Does the referred person also gain something?

Yes. The programme works for both sides. The referred person receives a starting benefit for the project, and you receive a cash reward once the programme conditions are met.

Is it enough to send someone our contact details?

Simply passing on contact details is not enough for the reward to be paid. The referral has to lead to a new contract with the referred person and meet the rules described in the programme regulations.

Is there a reward limit?

Yes. The total value of rewards for one referring person under the programme can reach up to PLN 15,000. That still leaves room for several successful referrals.

Who can I refer?

Someone who is genuinely planning finishing, renovation or a comprehensive project and does not have an active agreement with Mivare for the same investment. The best referrals start from trust, not from a random link.

Where can I submit a referral?

The easiest way is to contact us and provide basic information about the referred person and the planned project. Then we will check whether the topic qualifies for the programme and what benefit both sides can receive.

B2B cooperation

Good cooperation also has to be well built

We work not only with private clients. We support developers, architects, real estate agencies and property managers in models matched to their everyday work.

Who are the Partner Programmes for?

For companies and professionals who need reliable execution support, order in the project and a predictable cooperation model. Most often these are developers, architects, designers, real estate agencies and property managers.

Explore Partner Programmes

What can you offer a developer?

We can help with packages for buyers, the Investment Package, show apartments, tenant changes, post-handover service and information order around units. The point is a model that can actually be implemented, not just nicely described.

Programme for Developers

How does cooperation with architects and designers work?

The architect keeps control of the concept, and we help translate it into execution. Current design versions, site questions, details before closing, investor decisions and the quality of elements that build the character of the interior all matter.

Programme for Architects

What does a real estate agency gain?

An agency can prepare a property for sale or rent faster, organise the scope of work, show the owner a before-and-after effect and present the offer more strongly. This helps shorten the path from a property needing work to a home ready to show.

Programme for Real Estate Agencies

What do you offer property managers?

Property managers need not only execution, but also a history of requests, photos, dates, documents and responsibility. We can handle renovations, refreshes, requests, inspections and service works so every action has context.

Can partners use Moje Mivare?

Yes. For partners, order in data can be just as important as the work itself. Units, statuses, documents, handovers, photos, requests and decision history can be managed in a clearer way.

Are cooperation terms fixed?

We set the model individually. Cooperation looks different for one unit, different for packages across an entire development and different again for ongoing service for a property manager or real estate agency.

Style, light, colour and function

Inspirations are the beginning of a conversation, not a ready-made recipe

Good inspirations help name a direction. Then they have to be translated into area, budget, materials, light and everyday use of the interior.

Why did you create the inspirations section?

To make it easier to start a conversation about the interior. We divided inspirations into styles, rooms, light and colour because these are the areas that most often help a client understand what truly attracts them.

Enter the inspirations section

Can I come with my own inspirations?

Yes. Photos, moodboards, saved projects, colours, materials and examples of details help a lot. They do not have to be perfectly consistent, because often only conversation shows what they have in common.

Can an online inspiration always be executed?

Not always one to one. A photo may have a different area, light, height, budget, materials or installation layout. Our role is to translate the inspiration into a solution that makes sense in your interior.

Do you help choose a style?

Yes, but we do not have to start with a label. Sometimes it matters more whether the interior should feel calm, warm, minimalist, hotel-like, family-focused, investment-oriented, more classic or more premium. The style can be named later.

Do colour and light really change perception that much?

Yes. The same material can look different in cool and warm light, in a small room and an open living area, in the morning and in the evening. That is why colour, light and texture should be connected decisions, not random choices from separate catalogues.

Do inspirations also help with investment renovations?

Yes, but then we look for different answers. With a property prepared for rent or sale, inspiration should support first impression, durability, universality, cost and decision speed, not only the owner’s private taste.

What should I do if I like several styles at once?

That is very common. Then we look for a common denominator: colour palette, proportions, materials, mood, level of decoration and function. A good interior does not have to copy one style. It has to feel coherent for you.
