Tenement apartment

Old walls, new elegance

Something you cannot buy from a catalogue: height, light, proportions and the trace of old architecture.
Our task was not to cover that history with modernity.
We wanted to bring out its class and add the comfort of contemporary living.
Here the transformation was about preserving the soul of the place,
not about starting everything from scratch.

Tenement apartment

Character of the place, everyday comfort

High rooms and older building fabric had atmosphere, but needed technical and visual order. We wanted to refresh the apartment without covering its natural character.

Floor area

Around 115 m²

Large apartment in an older building: living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, study and circulation.

Standard

Close to the Comfort package

Comfort-level finishing, with greater attention to base preparation, room proportions and preservation of the apartment's character.

Price

Around PLN 180,000 gross

The amount included work in an older apartment, where part of the budget goes into surface preparation and adapting solutions.

The challenge

An old base and uneven room standards

The apartment had potential, but needed consistency. The kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom had to feel better without losing the height or atmosphere of the interior.

What we did

We refreshed the interior without taking away its character

We organised colours, light and materials. We refined the key rooms while keeping a simpler, calmer standard instead of overloading them with detail.

The result

A more comfortable apartment with atmosphere

The interior became brighter, more functional and easier to use every day. You still feel the scale of the older building, but without the heaviness.

The price shown is indicative and applies to this specific project: its floor area, scope, standard and technical conditions. The package is shown as a point of reference, not as a ready-made offer for every similar interior.

Living room

Height, light and a representative rhythm

The living room uses what is most valuable in a tenement apartment: scale, tall windows and the natural elegance of proportion. After the change, the interior is warm, representative and ready for everyday life.

Scale of the room

The height and windows were not hidden. The furniture layout, curtains and light lead the eye upward and let you feel the space.

Layers of light

Backlighting, the main lamp, wall lights and soft fabrics build an evening mood without taking away the natural calm of the interior.

Kitchen

Full function in a representative part of the apartment

The kitchen was not treated as a back room. The island, tall built-ins, olive fronts and warm wall colour turned it into one of the most representative parts of the apartment.

The island as the centre

The island organises the layout, gives worktop space and creates a natural meeting point. The kitchen also began to work as a day zone.

Colour with character

Olive fronts, brass accents and warm walls suit the old joinery. The effect is strong, but still elegant.

Bathroom

From neglect to a private bathing salon

In the bathroom, the key was to change both the mood and the quality of use. A freestanding bath, open shower zone, lit niches and warm tiles create an interior that suits the scale of the tenement apartment.

Large bathing zone

The freestanding bath and open shower make good use of the floor area. The bathroom is no longer purely technical; it becomes a private place to unwind.

Brass and light

Fittings, mirror, niches and warm lighting add elegance. The details build atmosphere without taking away calm.

Bedroom

A private area with hotel-like calm

The bedroom is a calmer answer to the scale of the tenement. Wood, an olive accent, built-ins and soft light turn a cool room into a private place to rest.

Built-ins without heaviness

Long built-ins organise storage, but light wood and lighting keep the tall room visually open.

Soft quietness

Fabrics, rug, headboard and warm lighting soften the scale of the interior. The bedroom should be elegant, but above all calm.

Study

Work in a space with class

The study closes the project in a more intimate way. Built-ins, desk, a soft conversation area and tall windows create a room that is practical, yet still residential and elegant.

Library rhythm

Shelved built-ins are not only a background for the TV. They organise the wall, give space for objects and build the study character.

Conversation zone

Armchairs, a small table and soft light mean the study is not only a place to work. It can also be a calm place to meet.

Do you have a tenement apartment?

Let us see how to bring out its character without taking away its history.

A tenement apartment needs a different approach than a new apartment. Proportions, installations, joinery, materials and decisions all matter here; they should not cover the place, but allow it to work again.

Sometimes the best decision starts right here

See what else is worth discovering

Not everyone lands immediately on what they truly need.
That is why we have gathered a few paths that help you look at finishing and renovation from different angles.
Sometimes one right topic is enough for the whole picture to start making sense.

Partner Programmes

Good cooperation also needs to be well built

We support architects, developers and designers as a trusted execution partner. On time, flexible and focused on quality at every stage of the project.

Styles that inspire

Every interior has its own language

From calm elegance to bolder directions, see styles that help give an interior character and build a space that genuinely feels close to you.

Behind every good project, there are people

Meet a team that combines aesthetics, precision and responsible management of the whole process. For us, a good interior starts with a conversation and ends with a refined result.
